Conflict Management: Problem, Challenge, or Opportunity?

The emergence of conflicts in teams and organizations is inevitable. The negative outcomes that can arise are usually related to the decrease in productivity, worsening of the work environment, impoverishment of the quality of teamwork or the appearance of competitiveness among team members.

There are also conflicts that raise recurrently in organizations and can be avoided through what we call "Conflict Prevention". The implementation of different organizational processes, as well as a specific way of interpersonal relationships in the organization, can help reduce the occurrence of conflicts.

Even though the avoidance of workplace conflicts is not always successful, they can be managed in an effective way. This way of managing conflicts not only reduces the negative impact, but also offers teams and their members an opportunity for growth and continuous improvement.
